Former U.S. cybersecurity director Chris Krebs suggested he’s considering legal action in response to threatening comments made Monday by one of President Trump’s lawyers, who during a television interview called for Krebs’ execution after he was fired by Trump earlier this month for pushing back against the president’s unfounded accusations of fraud in the election....
Responding to the threats, Krebs, who served as the head of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency, told NBC’s “The Today Show” that he has an “exceptional team of lawyers that will win in court.” “The way I look at it is that we’re a nation of laws, and I plan to take advantage of those laws,” said Krebs, hinting that his lawyers are “probably going to be busy.”
