“Donald Trump is a man without character,” tweeted Taylor, the former chief of staff at the Department of Homeland Security in the Trump administration. “It’s why I wrote ‘A Warning’...and it’s why me & my colleagues have spoken out against him for months. It’s time for everyone to step out of the shadows.”
The dramatic effect of the reveal may be undercut by the fact that it came from a former official who has already openly turned against Trump. Taylor has previously endorsed Joe Biden for president andOn Wednesday, Taylor said he felt a duty to voters to drop the pseudonym and end one of the major lines of criticism levied against his writings.
