Spaun finally drove down Magnolia Lane last spring and teed it up at golf’s Masters tournament.
“That would mean I’m doing a lot of good things,” Spaun, 32, said of another Masters invitation, “and at least confirm I belong in the caliber of player that gets exempt for that tournament.”There are 19 criteria, four of which apply to Spaun and one of which he nearly met one last year at Augusta National: The top 12 finishers plus ties get automatic berths the following year.
