NOBLESVILLE, Ind. — It's inching closer and closer to Fourth of July — and that means a plethora of events in the area.

The free event will take place on Thursday, July 4 starting at 4 p.m. with the Stars & Stripes Forever Parade through downtown Noblesville. The fireworks festival will then happen at Forest Park from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. There will be attractions like inflatables, balloon twisters and face painters in the Kids Zone. The Teen Zone will have inflatables, Spyder bungee jump and a rock wall. New attractions this year include the return of a zip-line, inflatable corn maze and a two-person gyroscope.

Kids in America will perform 80s music on the Pacers Sports and Entertainment Main Stage from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.The Noblesville Fireworks Festival also offers free shuttle routes throughout and after the event to help people get to Forest Park from designated off-site parking lots.. They sit eight people and are $160. Officials said tables include up-close seating to the live music performance, an"exceptional view" of the fireworks and separate bathrooms.

The Noblesville Fourth of July parade, festival, and fireworks display is the longest continuously running celebration in Central Indiana and an annual tradition in Noblesville since 1997, according to a news release. “The Fourth of July is always a special day for my family and so many families throughout Noblesville and our festivities have become a summer stable that brings our community together,” Mayor Chris Jensen said. “In addition to the festivities, we also take this opportunity to express our gratitude to those who have served and continue to serve our country, safeguarding our freedoms.”
