Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Stardew Valley's latest update added a staggering amount of new content, including more pets, new festivals, and even a new farm map. As such, now is the perfect time to start a new farm in Stardew Valley and get a fresh beginning in order to experience all the new content.

9 Working The Land As A Tiller Artisan & Agriculturist The other profession that branches off from farming is tiller, which focuses on growing crops rather than raising animals. Tiller is the other option available at Level 5, and its benefit is increasing the amount of gold crops sell for by 10%.

7 Drawn To Gems As A Geologist Excavator & Gemologist Unlike the miner, a geologist has the bonus of a 50% chance that nodes will have two gems instead of one. The biggest benefit here is having extra income from the extra gems from nodes, which can help grow the farm and pay for constructing buildings and such. When it comes to the mining professions, a miner gets a better early boost in resources, but the geologist will earn more gold long-term.

3 Life By The Beach As A Trapper Mariner & Luremaster The trapper bonus reduces the amount of resources required to craft Crab Pots, even changing the Iron Bar requirement to Copper Bars. However, since Crab Pots normally require only Wood and Iron Bars, they aren't difficult to make once the farmer reaches a decent level in the mine.
