The RuPaul’s Drag Race spin-off debuted its first season in 2012 and challenged queens to compete in pairs. RPDR All Stars season 1 sported a phenomenal cast of previous competitors from the franchise. However, the format harmed the season and halted its production until season 2 returned in 2016.
Jimbo had an extraordinary run on the season, but it was tainted by complaints from other contestants. Heidi infamously threatened to quit the show during an early episode of Untucked when she was frustrated with her placement in some of the challenges and ended up quitting the season. What’s more is that another queen, Kahanna Montrese, also threatened to step away from RPDR All Stars season 8.
6 RPDR All Stars Season 5 There Were Great Performances, But The Outcome Was Far Too Predictable Close RPDR All Stars season 5 shifted the trajectory of the show. Airing during the COVID-19 pandemic, it was the first time there were heavy hitters featured on the cast, deeming it the first season joked as “some stars” instead of All Stars. A few of the queens in the season were random, like India Farrah and Blair St. Clair.
