Every Kobe Bryant tribute planned for NBA All-Star Weekend

To remember Bryant, the NBA has altered the format of the All-Star Game, which will feature a brand new system in the fourth quarter. On Sunday, the two teams will compete to win each of the first three quarters, which will all start with a 0-0 scoreline and be 12 minutes long as usual.

At the beginning of the final period, however, the game clock will be switched off and a final score target will be set. The score will be determined by adding 24 points—which is again a nod to the number Bryant wore in the second half of his career—to the leading team's combined score through three quarters.

The first team to reach the target will be declared the winner. In other words, should Team LeBron be up 120-110 after three quarters, the winning target will be 144. In that scenario, Team LeBron would have to score 24 points in the fourth quarter before Team Giannis scores the required 34 points.
