Have you ever wondered whether putting your phone on airplane mode really makes a difference during a flight? Well, American aviation experts are wondering the same.

European Union officials set Russian oil price cap at $60 a barrelThe European Union on Friday agreed to cap Russian oil prices at $60 a barrel, after several days of intense negotiations over an appropriate level. How about they find alternatives to Putin’s oil. Russia should be isolated as much as possible. Unfortunately for them, there are plenty of buyers that are willing to pay more than that. PolitiFact - Gun homicides 22 times more frequent in U.S. than European UnionThe U.S. firearm homicide rate in 2019 was 4.11 people per 100,000, compared to 0.19 in the 27-nation European Union, according to research by the University of Washington. But eliminating firearms won't change overall homicide rate. Proof? If you put that same list in order of overall homicides (not just guns) the US falls to 74th. The point? People will still find a way to murder. Yeah but what about per 100k firearms. We know the US has massive arsenal compared to other countries. But I can't find any data on deaths per firearm. Gut tells me it's much lower than other countries.

France’s Plan To Ban Short-Haul Domestic Flights Wins Approval From European CommissionThe days of short-haul flights in Europe are numbered, at least in France. It is a very good decision.
