ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia—Ethiopian Airlines’ chief executive said a stall-prevention system on Boeing Co.’s 737 MAX appears to have been activated on a jet that crashed earlier this month—the first time an aviation official familiar with the flight has specifically said that the system could have been switched on during the accident.

I wouldn’t be so sure of it. Chinese have lined up C919 as B737 replacement. And Bloomberg is already promoting it in the US. Also airbus can’t fulfill orders. You can cancel orders from the largest and most experienced plane maker in the world or you can wait a decade for a plane... no brainer for airlines. They aren’t scared by short term trading $ba Profits over people every freaking time!
