ICYMI: Epidemiologist says Sask. has 'some ways to go' with respect to boosters

From the time vaccines started being doled out in the province in mid-December 2020 until July 31 of this year, there were 96 serious adverse reactions to the vaccines from 2,530,557 doses. That works out to a 0.0037936 per cent chance of having a serious reaction to a vaccine.

The summary from the ministry describes adverse events following immunization as any “untoward medical occurrence that follows immunization and does not necessarily have a causal relationship with the administration of the vaccine.” Muhajarine, who himself has two doses and two booster doses, says as we come out of the third summer with COVID-19, people need to look at additional shots as “a bit of an insurance policy.”Article content

The professor mentioned the premier declining an offer from frontline medical staff to come and see ICUs and hospitals dealing with weight of the COVID-19 pandemic while he did take time to speak with leaders of an organization opposed to vaccine mandates.
