Employees protest fair wages, contracts outside Jacksonville WestRock paper mill

Dennis Teston, an employee at WestRock, said they have been in negotiations since the beginning of May.

Teston said they worked religiously through the pandemic and they want to show the company they are serious about wages and benefits.talks between WestRock and its three unions have stalled. Robby Johnson, APR, Manager of Corporate Communications at WestRock released this statement to News4JAX. These individuals are showing their support for the USW contract negotiations that are underway at this location. Companies should have to return 50% of the year's profits to the employees, divided by hours logged and then doled out by hours worked. Without the employees there would be no profits.
