White is a Black designer who was born in Baltimore and raised in Howard County, Maryland. She is an economist, curator, pattern maker and full-package technical designer with more than 10 years of experience. She’s now based in Los Angeles. White will receive a $10,000 grant, one year of professional mentorship program, and the opportunity to create a capsule collection designed with and sold on the Eloquii platform in 2023.
