“My favorite—I’m going to say it, we’ll break news today—is Elizabeth Warren,” Legend admits. “She’s the best candidate running today and she comes at it with joy and with sincerity and with a wealth of knowledge and experience.”He wasn’t done with his praise. “Honestly, I don’t comprehend why guys hate women so much sometimes,” Legend continued.
In giving thanks, Warren, U.S. Senator for Massachusetts and formerly a law school professor, fired off a two-sentence tweet in which she pays tribute to Legend and Teigen, and takes a swipe at Donald Trump. “I'm grateful down to my toes for your support, John Legend,” she wrote. “Looking forward to the day Chrissy Teigen doesn't have to fight with the president of the United States on Twitter.”
