An explosion caused extensive damage to electrical vaults in downtown Los Angeles early Monday morning.About 4:40 a.m., the L.A. Fire Dept. got a report of a large explosion and a power outage. Three maintenance hole covers in the street were blown off and debris was laying in the street.
