The Hollywood Reporter–Billboard Media Group has hired publishing veteran as chief global commercial officer, the company announced Wednesday . Under the new position, Menicheschi will report directly to president, splitting his time between New York and Los Angeles. He'll be tasked with overseeing all media revenue and expansion across the group’s brands as well as sponsorships and integration in partnership with the integrated marketing team at dick clark productions.
“Edward has a deep and comprehensive understanding of our ecosystem and brings a wealth of experience from trade and consumer and the perspective of reaching a broad set of audiences, from young to multicultural to tenured and affluent," said Brown. "We’re thrilled to bring him on board to drive our bottom line as we look to expand and evolve our product offerings."
Added Menicheschi: "I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Deanna and the entire group to develop new revenue streams, drive market expansion, and create innovative new products worthy of these industry-leading media properties." Menicheschi joins THR-Billboard Media Group from the strategic advisory firm Silver Fox Productions, which he founded, focusing on the media, direct-to-consumer and venture capital sectors. He previously served as chief marketing officer and president of media group at Condé Nast, where he was responsible for company-wide marketing and corporate ad revenue and leading corporate sales, including digital, video, social, data products and sponsorship revenue.
