What the secret to good interior design? Eche Martinez shares his inspiration.

As a kid growing up in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Eche Martinez didn’t mind the rain. In fact, it let him indulge his passion.

After studying architecture in Paris, he opened his own interior design firm, Eche, in San Francisco in 2015. The company has built a client list across the Bay Area and Silicon Valley. Recent projects have been located in New Jersey and Washington state. The first and most important thing is to see the world through our clients’ eyes. For some people, they are building their dream home and it’s something that they’ve been thinking of for many, many years. And some other clients, maybe they want us to be the creative vision of the project. Over the years I’ve learned to work with different people, these people who come from different backgrounds and people who relate to their environment differently.

Born in Buenos Aires, time in Paris and New York, living in San Francisco — which city inspires you most stylistically?
