Area shelters’ dogs and cats need their “forever” homes.

She’s super-easy to walk and great with people and other dogs she meets on outings. Only a year old, she loves to play and snuggle. Her only requirement besides your love is that she be your only dog, as she gets a little bossy with other canines sharing living space. Come and meet this pet at Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter in Alameda any Wednesday or Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. VisitCheeto was living outside when he was attacked by other cats. He has limited tenure at his foster home.
