Dwayne Johnson Celebrates Red One Filming Wrap With New Image

Dwayne Johnson has taken to social media to announce the end of filming on Red One, sharing a new image of his character from the upcoming Christmas movie. Johnson got his start in the WWE but has since become one of the biggest movie stars in the world, starring in the likes of Jungle Cruise, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, and Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw.

The post may be short on any specific information about Red One, but Johnson does tease that there's "more to come.

While Johnson's Callum Drift character remains somewhat mysterious, Simmons is confirmed to be playing Santa Claus himself. Johnson has already shared a host of behind-the-scenes images from Red One, showing off Simmons' muscled, leather-clad version of old Saint Nicholas. Evans will also seemingly play a prominent role in the movie as a character named Jack O'Malley who, judging from Johnson's photos, seems to be more of an "everyman" type of character.

While Red One doesn't yet have an official release date, the movie is expected to release during the holiday season later this year, meaning audiences still have a while to wait. With filming on the movie now complete, it's likely that footage will be shown off in the next few months as post-production kicks into gear.
