The school district builds several weather days into its standard calendar, which will convert to instructional days as a result of this week's three-day closure.due to the storm, and several high school football games will be made up Monday evening instead of the traditional Friday.As in Duval County, Clay County schools also announced a full reopening, effective Monday.
In an e-mail to parents, Clay County School District superintendent David Broskie said that officials assessed all county schools on Friday. Broskie said the assessment found"no structural damages, power outages, or flooding that will impede our opening."
