I always ask for a paper cup when I get an iced drink at Starbucks, not for insulation, but in case the plastic cracks. I'd just as soon have the drink in paper to begin with, but I always forget until it's too late.

I'm so glad they are gone. So many people out here drive around drinking their 16 daily half gallons of iced coffee and somehow feel the need to order styro cups with them everytime.

Had a lot of DD coffee, some pushing 212 degrees, never found the need to add insulation to the styrofoam cup. Paper cups, yeah, often need that extra insulating band. Did somebody get the memo backwards?
