maddow If Obama can create DACA then Trump can end DACA. Fact is, Obama had no authority to authorize DACA. Case closed.

maddow An Executive Action is not a law. This case isn’t about DACA’s merits, but enumerated powers. If the court rules Obama’s EA can’t be undone by EA, that makes EAs de facto laws, a power granted to Congress. Pyrrhic victory when any POTUS can subsequently decree laws unilaterally

maddow Dems (ahem Nancy/Chuck/Kamala) had the opportunity to give Dreamers citizenship. Trump laid it on the table. But Dems STABBED THE DREAMERS IN THE BACK!! The did not secure their freedom because they refused to allow $$ for a wall. Dreamers are at risk because Dem POLITICS!

maddow

maddow Of course he can. It isn’t law. The current law requires deporting people who aren’t here without proper permission and proper papers. DACA is not the law. Obama acted only to DEFER following the law. Trump can act to faithfully execute the law as the constitution requires.
