On Saturday , the Toronto MC delivered a late night surprise in the form of not one, but two new songs."When to Say When" and"Chicago Freestyle" touch on a range of topics, including fatherhood and 500 weeks of Billboard chart success.
Hours after their release, social media started lighting up with Drizzy fans sharing their thoughts on the new songs, which were released on SoundCloud and combined into one music video on YouTube.Another fan pointed out Drake's ongoing trend of dropping two songs at the same time. "Drake two packs have been formulaic over the past 5 years, it’s been: Drop a Pop smash with mass appeal, and drop a bar heavy song so people don’t forget he raps. This is different. This is just two phenomenal songs with no agenda," the fan tweeted."Hey Drake... Do you wanna possibly uh.... want to drop the freestyles on streaming services?? You don’t have to if you don’t want to, though," a fan jokingly tweeted.
