Vegeta has stayed because of fan demand.

Summary Akira Toriyama, the beloved creator of Dragon Ball who passed away in March of 2024, has been known to bring various characters back from the dead, including Vegeta. The reason for the Saiyan returning has a lot to do with fans based on material from the franchise's 30th anniversary.

However, a special manga one-page comic reveals an actual possible reason for Vegeta to continue his returns to the series. While undoing deaths in manga and anime could be seen as lowering the stakes, Dragon Ball has made it a reasonable thing to do under certain parameters.
