'This was not an easy decision, but one that we believe best respects the science, decreases the risk of further spread and follows the task force criteria,' DrSanjayGupta writes.

Many schools around the country have already made the decision for the students. At least 63 of the 101 largest school districts in the country decided to start the year with virtual learning. There are other school districts that have decided to go in-person, though many with virtual options. My own kids' school left the choice up to the individual families, and while it's difficult, I'm grateful we have options.

It is a lot to consider, but in the minds of our family, the evidence is clear. After considering all the objective criteria and assessing the situation in our own community, we have made the decision to keep our girls out of school for the time being. This was not an easy decision, but one that we believe best respects the science, decreases the risk of further spread and follows the task force criteria.

drsanjaygupta Great choice doctor

drsanjaygupta But he’s only doing it because “orange man bad”. Why isn’t that in the article?

drsanjaygupta

drsanjaygupta Why are you telling us? We don't need to know this.

drsanjaygupta NAACP Tweets WrongTrump Terrible... just terrible!

drsanjaygupta Because you’re a millionaire and don’t need to?

drsanjaygupta We know why. CNN told you not to.

drsanjaygupta An ultra Rich liberal doesn't send their kids to school. How brave 🙄

drsanjaygupta How many time last are u going to retweet this nonsense?

drsanjaygupta Opinion based article. All articles like this do is cause confusion.

drsanjaygupta

drsanjaygupta IF anyone wants some FACTS...

drsanjaygupta Of course he won't send them back to school. He can't go against the democratic thinking & teacher unions.

drsanjaygupta Now try doing this while having three jobs and two kids. Needless to say that he chose to do so because he almost harmlessly can. The less wealthy, the less possible it is yo do so.

drsanjaygupta they should have screening kids as they come in. because many family didn't get tested but want kids in school to harm others. So all this big people of school get that money from Education Devos and make school safe It there.

drsanjaygupta CNN’s medical correspondent echos the globalist narrative. Again.

drsanjaygupta Because you work with CNN. Duh!

drsanjaygupta Fake Doctor, just as CNN fake news.

drsanjaygupta How much is cnn ‘s fear-monger bonus to make this announcement?

drsanjaygupta You mean follows the science you agree with - there are plenty of doctors that say the risk is extremely low for school age children to return to school. But keep on virtue signaling. 👍🏻👍🏻

drsanjaygupta He has resources to make that decision - open schools or defund them

drsanjaygupta SISSY!!!

drsanjaygupta T.V. doctor.

drsanjaygupta You are so brave for sharing, Sanjay! Thank you and thanks to everyone at CNN for having the courage to shoot us straight & report just the facts. I can’t get enough CNN. It’s on 24/7 at my house. My only complaint - can donlemon get more than 1 hour air time? He is so smart!

drsanjaygupta Sanjay - what % of kids who are fully remote do you think will exercise 0 times/week? What will their diets be like being in the house all day? Understand some immediate risk with sending kids back, but long term I think this remote learning may turn out more harmful.

drsanjaygupta and we should care? WHY? He is a mouthpiece of CNN and that makes anything he supports questionable

drsanjaygupta ANYONE NEEDS A BILL COVERED DURING THIS Pandemic ❓👀💰

AshaRangappa_ drsanjaygupta If he isn't on FOX he is a quack..🤣

AshaRangappa_ drsanjaygupta Look at the Harvard-Westlake School’s plan. It is a model of evidence-based policy. It can be a starting point for other schools; modify as appropriate.

drsanjaygupta President Trump took unprecedented steps in response to the Coronavirus. He made a decisive decision to put a travel ban on Europe and China. At the time, the media and Joe Biden were against these closures. However Trump's decisions ended up saving more Americans!!

AshaRangappa_ drsanjaygupta Easy for him to say, he's one of the 3-4% of Americans who might actually be qualified to home-school their kids. Not that letting them get infected is a better option.

drsanjaygupta parents need to heed this news story; now, they may not watch CNN but Gupta doesn't have this job just because he's good looking, k?

drsanjaygupta Wow

drsanjaygupta One thing I’ve heard lately that is utter crap. “I respect people that wear a mask, but masks don’t work so I’m not going to wear one”. That is one of the most contradictory statements ever.

drsanjaygupta They're beautiful.....dad ain't bad, either! 😉

drsanjaygupta Your body, your choice. Isn't that how the saying goes? The question is will you be able to accept others who make a different Choice?

drsanjaygupta I guess everyone is entitled to their choice, but I'm sending my kids to school.

drsanjaygupta Protect your family Dr. Gupta!

drsanjaygupta And I'm sure Fox will counter with a Dr that says they will send their kids to school.

drsanjaygupta Question - Is our lack of point-of-care Covid testing just about money? If so, where are Michael Bloomberg, Oprah, Tyler Perry, Bezos, Gates, etc., etc., etc.!!!! Step up and help us ALL out - PLEASE!!!!!!!!

drsanjaygupta I’m glad I live on a military installation and don’t have to deal with the MAGAs not wanting to wear a mask. You will wear it in every building on the facility... PERIOD!

drsanjaygupta I totally agree with him it wasn’t an easy decision but it must be a great decision when you make it right and that’s not hard to do not even rocket science is needed but for good reasons to protect yourself and others around us it’s only selfishness actions that does harm to ppl

drsanjaygupta I cannot imagine why anyone would allow their children to be treated like Guinea pigs by a man who has such distain for facts or science.

drsanjaygupta with nearly 70 million students, it is impossible to implement safety measures. there is not enough physical space for distancing of students, no consensus on mask wearing. someone said that 2 to 3% students death was an acceptable “tradeoff” for reopening. you do the math 😢

drsanjaygupta Left out: he can afford private tutors.

drsanjaygupta That is just wonderful for people who can afford private tutors. The less fortunate will suffer the most!

drsanjaygupta Lovely family he has.

drsanjaygupta my son got the virus and thankfully had almost no symptoms. he elected to go back to school in the fall and that seems fine with us. we were around him a lot while waiting for results thinking he was negative and the rest of the family never got it that we can tell.

drsanjaygupta I’m sure being paid by a fear monger network like CNN had nothing to do with this decision... also if I was a millionaire my kids wouldn’t go to public schools anyway.

drsanjaygupta Because you hate everything trump says. Not rocket science.

drsanjaygupta Go to hell Doc...we all know exactly why you are doing it. And yeah, no problem for you to hire the best tutors money can buy, or perhaps your team of nannys and other household workers will help. Idiot.

drsanjaygupta Because he can afford to make that decision. This is why we need to fund families and not institutions. RandPaul has a bill to do just that, and states should follow. Education dollars (raised from taxes) go to families as a credit to use for private, public, or home schooling.

drsanjaygupta It was the dumbest thing to do in the first place!

drsanjaygupta It's a smart decision, helps to reduce the virus spread and protect the loved ones.

drsanjaygupta I'm thankful our district has started with virtual learning. I'll be continuing for as long as possible.

drsanjaygupta It seems to me it is an easy decision. If I had school age kids, there's no way I'd send them back to public school right now.

drsanjaygupta Good job👍🏻very happy you are putting it all out there for the parents who disagree with you.

drsanjaygupta Every last one of us has a Choice listen to this FAILURE OF ADMINISTRATION or use YOUR OWN COMMON SENSE your life and your children’s health is ON THE LINE...which do you value most or you going with a COMPLETE FAILURE TO PROTECT US ALL ..your choice👏🏿

drsanjaygupta Let's embrace 'building natural immunity'. The advantage to our youth overall is that they statistically can beat the Covid. Rest assure MOST are asymptomatic anyways. HerdImmunity is vital and key into dissipating this virus. FEAR is non-productive as well as face masks.

drsanjaygupta I don’t blame you and there’s no way I can be mad about. You send out warnings everyday and most do not want to listen. They just want their lids out of the house. If they get sick they will be the first ones to cry bloody murder.

drsanjaygupta You can afford not to. Dip shit.

drsanjaygupta They are too valuable to put at risk.

drsanjaygupta For those with the ability to be home with their kids and still work, this is not a hard decision. Let's stop pretending it is. The decision is nearly impossible for those that have a job they can't do remotely.

drsanjaygupta Because you have a lot of money and can afford to privately fund your children's education?

drsanjaygupta Are you, kidding. You’d be skewered by the left, which is CNN by the way,if you did otherwise.
