The rate of coronavirus tests that come back positive in some states outside of the southern region of the nation is beginning to increase, Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said during an interview with The Journal of the American Medical Association.
It's the same "insidious" rise that the Sun Belt region saw a month or so ago, he said.he warned about a potential surge of Covid-19 cases brewing in states like Ohio, Tennessee, Kentucky and Indiana, which have reported an uptick in the so-called positivity rate, or the percentage of tests that are positive.

The only thing insidious in this equation is 'Dr.' Fauci. Although at this point I'm not sure insidious is the correct word given Fauci's very public, attention-seeking persona and numerous damaging actions.

That means the death rate is even lower. Remember Fauci said millions would be dead by now, and that did not happen. 1.8 million people died of TB in 2019, but the economy was not shut down. Over 600k people died of Alcohol abuse, but bars were not shut down. 450k auto deaths.
