Dominion Energy announced Thursday that it will be closing the intersection at West Temple and 200 South in downtown Salt Lake City beginning April 1.

The intersection of 200 South and West Temple in Salt Lake City is seen March 10, 2024. Dominion Energy on Thursday, March 28, announced the intersection would be closed through all of April and a portion of May as crews replace a natural gas line. Dominion Energy announced Thursday that it will be closing the intersection at West Temple and 200 South in downtown Salt Lake City beginning April 1 as crews replace a natural gas line.

According to the company's 200 South project website, workers are typically active between 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. during the week, with weekend work taking place if needed "For your safety and the safety of those working in the area, please exercise caution, stay alert, and reduce speeds while driving near the work zone," according to the site. "Nearby residents and businesses can expect increased noise, dust, and vibrations associated with this type of work."
