Staff Reports Wednesday’s action for the Dothan Diamond Classic at James Oates Park was cancelled by the threat of bad weather and a revised schedule for Thursday was created to help add a few games back into pool play.
Twenty games are now scheduled for Thursday, the final day of pool play before bracket action starts on Friday night, leading to Saturday’s 1 p.m. championship game. Thursday’s action now starts at 3 p.m. with G.W. Long versus Geneva, Ashford against Slocomb, Ariton against Brantley and Carroll versus Dale County.Playing at 4:30 p.m. are Ashford versus Dothan, Geneva against Slocomb, Houston County versus Pike Road, Geneva County against Rehobeth, Enterprise versus Cottonwood and Wicksburg against Headland.
