A federal judge in DC is allowing the Justice Department’s (DOJ) lawsuit against former National Security Adviser John Bolton for his new memoir to proceed.

“Because the agreements imposed both obligations and because the government plausibly pleads that Bolton breached those obligations, the Court will deny Bolton's pending motion to dismiss,” Judge Royce Lamberth said in his decision.

The judge pointed out that Bolton signed three non-disclosure agreements as a condition of his position. According to court documents, Bolton submitted his manuscript to Ellen Knight, the National Security Council’s director for records access and information security management. Knight and her staff performed a preliminary review and determined the manuscript contained “significant amounts of classified information.” Knight and Bolton worked through a series of changes.

Knight, believing the classified information to be excised, then passed the manuscript to Michael Ellis, the NSC’s senior director for intelligence programs, for a second review.Ellis had access to more “extremely sensitive intelligence reports” than Knight, and determined the manuscript still contained classified information and sent a letter to Bolton’s attorney explaining the book could not be published until the government confirmed its review was complete.

Flynn lawyers, DOJ continue push to get case thrown outNEW: Michael Flynn's lawyers and the DOJ continue to push for his criminal case to be thrown out, as Flynn's attorney revealed in a court hearing today that she recently spoke with Pres. Trump directly about the case. The corruption runs deep and wide in Trump’s world. Four years of damage may take 8 years to undo. Let’s vote him out and make 2021 the year we begin. Enough of Trump and Barr's games with law and public corruption. This 'privilege' of conversing is a delusion that Barr's happy to grant illegally. Defy him. Shut their con games down. He's no POTUS and he's finished. 30 year senior DOJ career lawyer told court today, there is no reason to continue and JS has a duty to dismiss.

Flynn Attorney Says She Briefed Trump On Case Amid DOJ InterventionA lawyer for Michael Flynn, the former national security adviser, said in court Tuesday that she briefed President Trump and one of his lawyers on the status of Flynn's criminal case in the past 2 weeks. That sure seems sketchy as hell. Isn’t that illegal? So? I’m more concerned about a judge trying to prosecute a case against an American citizen that was clearly a set up by corrupt FBI leadership even though the actual prosecutors say there is no evidence. Your bias is showing NPR.
