Before we get to some random thoughts, it's a good time to talk about Andy Pages, who has done remarkably well since he was recalled from the minors in mid-April when Jason Heyward went on the injured list. After his first six games, Pages, 23, was hitting .182, but since then he has hit .383/.380/.638.
