I was treated with the standard 30-day dose of antibiotics used for Lyme disease. After the antibiotics, I went to a second infectious disease doctor because Idid not feel well or feel like myself. That doctor said that it was impossible for me to still have Lyme disease after being treated with two weeks of antibiotics. Instead, she, too, chalked my symptoms up to motherhood.
Same feeling. That's how I describe it to others. I was sure I had As even though tests showed nothing. Docs gave me quinine, cortisone pain killers. Didn't work. Went away after Ivermectin.
That is similar to how I described my Lyme fatigue too. I described it as being weighed down with the protective blankets dentists use to use when doing X-rays.
