New York The head of the union representing 43,000 Walt Disney World service workers said that Disney"has to get it right" in regard to its phased Florida reopening Saturday.
Matt Hollis, who leads the Services Trades Council Union, told CNN that Disney was responding with robust measures to protect employees following worries over safety. He acknowledges that there will likely be cases of coronavirus in the park, but he is confident that the company will do the contact tracing necessary to stop the spread. Most important to Hollis is ensuring that any infected worker is encouraged to provide names of contacts, and that those contacts can stay home with pay.
'Disney Magic' is burying your loved ones in a month.
Getting it right is shutting it down and everyone knows that.
One states we looking for degree result how is going
I can’t imagine what could possibly go wrong when the parks open, and they are filled solely with people who have convinced themselves the virus is a hoax, masks are unconstitutional, and Trump is great (because those are the only people dumb enough to go right now)
Getting it right means not opening. Money has got to take a back seat to public health now. Disney can afford it.
Disney will have recalled 20,000 of the 43,000 workers in the Service Trades Council Union to its Florida Parks.
Oh, well...if the “union” say so then better jump on it
Stupid stupid but then again may as well join the COVID crowd Disney. I bet their tickets prices don’t drop either. Nothing like 100 degree temps and standing in long lines. What could go wrong?
