Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Marvel Studios will be reducing the amount of movies and TV shows they release from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Disney CEO Bob Iger confirms.

Iger, who has made it a mission to focus on quality over quantity since his return to Disney, revealed on a recent quarterly earnings call that Marvel Studios is limiting its movie release to 2-3 films a year, with the same applying to their TV shows on Disney+.

We’re slowly going to decrease volume...And we’re working hard on what that path is. A couple of good films in 2025 and then we’re heading to more Avengers which we’re extremely excited about. Overall, I feel great about the slate. It’s something, as you know, that I’ve committed to spending more and more time on. The team is one that I have tremendous confidence in and the IP that we’re mining, including all the sequels that we’re doing, is second to none.
