For the first time in forever, Disney’s “Frozen” is coming to Playhouse Square.

Caroline Bowman stars as Elsa in the national tour of the Disney Theatrical Productions musical "Frozen." CLEVELAND, Ohio --

“If we can find a positive that came out of it, I feel like I’m living in the moment now,” Bowman, a native of Maryland, said. “Every day I get to go out and do this job that I love so much, tell a story and perform for live audiences. I feel that’s a gift I don’t take for granted.” Like the beloved 2013 movie, the musical tells the tale of Elsa and Anna, orphaned princesses torn apart after Elsa’s magical powers send their kingdom of Arendelle into an eternal winter.“From the start of the show, people are going to realize, ‘Oh, this is different,” Bowman said. “But then we intertwine all your favorite songs from the movie and we added 12 new songs.”

“I didn’t really feel like any of them were really my princess until Elsa,” Bowman said, noting she was already an adult when “Frozen” was released.
