Disney's just-announced $12.99 bundle pricing for Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+ is just the latest daunting existential threat to Netflix. Here's why.

, Disney – with its multi-faceted business model -- can endure the pricing pressure pain in a way that Netflix’s singularly focused business model can’t. “Predatory pricing," anyone?

That’s a lot of valuable Disney-only content at Netflix’s most popular monthly price – a sum that doesn’t leave much wiggle room for Netflix to continue to raise its monthly pricing in a world of U.S. subscriber maturation and increasingly challenging global growth. After all, pricing still matters. $12.99 here, $16.99 over there …well, you get the picture.

Obi-Wan Kenobi series starring Ewan McGregor rumored for Disney Plus streaming serviceA series depicting Obi-Wan, potentially during his exile on Tatooine, could be announced as soon as the D23 Expo at the end of August. Please tell me it’s a cooking show. It's not that I wouldn't like a McGregor-led series, but it's established canon that Ben Kenobi was a hermit, he'd work overtime with Jedi mind tricks to undo everything he's done in that episode.
