Chris Paul, Deandre Ayton, Jae Crowder and Devin Booker are all ruled out Wednesday at the L.A. Clippers in second of back-to-back for Phoenix Suns.

LOS ANGELES – Phoenix Suns head coach Monty Williams sounded as if he wasn't completely in favor of resting players despite having the No. 1 overall seed for the playoffs and franchise record for wins in a single season locked up.

However, Deandre Ayton, Devin Booker, Jae Crowder and Chris Paul are ruled out of Wednesday's game at the Clippers in the second of a back-to-back for the Suns .Paul missed 15 games with a fractured right thumb. He's played in six games since he return March 24 at Denver. Every Suns player was available to play Tuesday against the Lakers outside of Dario Saric, who hasn't played all season after suffering a torn right ACL in Game 1 of last year's NBA Finals, and Frank Kaminsky III, who will miss his 67th consecutive game Wednesday with right knee stress reaction.

The NBA playoffs begin April 16, but the Suns may not play their first playoff game until April 17 because their first round opponent may not be determined until the final day of the play-in.
