I hate the Yankees but who didn’t vote for him Ridiculous!!!!
That voter should lose their credentials. I’m not a Jeter or Yankees fan, but I know enough baseball to know he’s one of the greatest ever. What dumbass thought, nah... he’s not even in my top 100. That person obviously knows nothing or was simply being political and petty.
Derek Jeter came within one vote of being a unanimous pick, while Larry Walker also earned baseball's highest honor.
That would have been a farce.
I am a die hard Yankee fan, but throughout our history there has been more than a handful of yankees who deserved that honor far more the Jeter. Let's start with Ruth, Gehrig, Dimaggio and Mantle.
