A suspect was arrested on Thursday by Denver police and hundreds of pounds of suspected illegal drugs, and about 9,000 fentanyl tablets, were seized.

The suspect was arrested in the 3000 block of Race Street and search warrants were served at two residences, one on Race Street and the other in the 12100 block of Amherst Circle, Aurora, according to a DPD news release.179 pounds of methamphetamine
