Mike Bloomberg: 'The data was very clear ... there is no way an independent can win ... The great likelihood is that an independent would just split the anti-Trump vote and end up re-electing the President. That's a risk I refused to run in 2016 & we can't afford to run it now.'
Doesn't matter. He's for cutting Medicare and SS. What do you think his chances are?
Glad to see more people running who aren’t part of the 2 party system. Americans need more choices.
Howard run as a Democrat if you wish. History shows that you will pull votes away from the Democrats. This had been shown from Wallace, Anderson, to Perot

This is fun...
Has he been contacted by Putin so early?
I like Schultz’s pitch! Plus, he can make a decent cup of coffee. I’m sure most of our elected officials can not.
So Mr Starbucks wants to be president, will he be asked his name for the cup and told to wait over there🤔
Look. We don’t need a field that will keep Athens Moron from getting defeated. Work behind the scenes and make sure we dump Trump and his enablers like Mitch
HowardSchultz Why wouldn't Schultz run as an independent? This way he can siphon enough Democrats to make sure Trump is reelected. After all, it was Trump who gave Corporations, including Starbucks, the huge tax break. Who says you can't have your cake and eat it too?
This is just another thing wrong with the Democratic Party. They are bullying Schultz because he wants to run as an independent and will probably take votes away from them.
The Democrats are operating under this dillusion that, just because most people despise Trump, the country is somehow shifting to the far left. They seem hell bent on running candidates who have no chance of getting to 270, and that is what is opening this Independent window.
Howard too must love Putin if he plans to run as an independent. All that will accomplish is to re-elect trump.
HowardSchultz turned his back on Democrats to run as a pandering 'both sides' disingenuous opportunist.
He knows if he ran as a democrat he wouldn’t make it through the first round of the primary.
He needs to go find Bernie Sanders' and Michael Blooomberg's statements about how the two major parties have rigged the system to make it nearly impossible for an independent to become president.
I guess that whole voter rights thing is pretty much over now. Getting away from the wackos dominating both parties now is a welcome chance for a lot of voters.
I hope he does run as an independent. Have just about had my fill of dems and pubs! What a waste!
Maybe it is time for the Democratic party to split, though. Let Schultz, Bloomberg &Harris create the Centrist party; while Sanders, Warren, and Gabbard create the Progressive party.
We have an independent that wants to run as a democrat and a democrat that wants to run as an independent. I’ll stick with KamalaHarris thanksbutnothanks
Howard Schultz’s claim to fame is - this buster sold the Seattle SuperSonics to clay bennett!! Pure D 💩💩💩 in our books in Seattle
Schultz2020
I think Shultz is actually friends with Trump and is planning on running to try to help Trump win, assuming Trump is not removed from office before then.
If you want to run, HowardSchultz, please choose the Dem or Rep primary and do *not* self-fund. Only run using small $ donations of everyday people you can convince to support your platform.
If he runs, my friends and I will c9nsider his platform.
Oh come on! The Democrats may as well save those millions/billions or give it to the homeless because we have a Great President and am in no need to return to the disgusting Country Obama created.
They won’t like his running as a Democrat either. They all look in a mirror and see the next potus. They are delusional.
pretty sure he's not welcome regardless as to party
Republican primary HowardSchultz please.
Its Harold.
