The House Democratic leadership PAC announced today it will spend $2.5 million on ads touting the caucus’s recent health care win — a significant ramp-up in battleground districts just ahead of next week’s impeachment vote

by GOP ads, like Reps. Kendra Horn of Oklahoma, Elissa Slotkin of Michigan and Elaine Luria of Virginia. Democrats are specifically looking to promote a marquee health bill approved this week that would allow the government to directly negotiate drug prices with Medicare for the first time, one of the caucus' biggest priorities of the year.

Conservative groups, including AAN as well as President Donald Trump’s reelection campaign, have already blanketed many freshman Democrats’ districts with millions of dollars in TV ads, taking advantage of cheap media markets in places like upstate New York, central Utah and northern Maine.

White House seeks to stymie GOP rebellion on trade dealTrade official Robert Lighthizer is expected to try to calm concerns from Senate Republicans at their lunch Thursday. I'd be surprised if this is a 'rebellion'. If the GOP blocks it, there will be huge backlash from most of the business community which the GOP relies on for $$. And if they try to amend it AGAIN, Canada and Mexico should call their bluff - walk away from the table.
