Nearly 20 officers were in a hallway for more than 45 minutes before agents used a master key to open a door and confront the gunman, authorities said.

McCraw said there was a barrage of gunfire shortly after the gunman entered the classroom where they killed him but that shots were"sporadic" for much of the 48 minutes while officers waited outside the hallway. He said investigators do not know if or how many children died during those 48 minutes.

Contrary to earlier statements by officials, a school district police officer was not inside the school when the gunman arrived. When that officer did respond, he unknowingly drove past the gunman, who was crouched behind a car parked outside and firing at the building, McCraw said. "The information that I was given turned out, in part, to be inaccurate," he said."And I'm absolutely livid about that."

Fourth-grade survivor of Texas shooting says gunman told class: 'It's time to die'The student said at one point, a cop told students to yell if they need help. One of the kids did \u2013 and 'the guy overheard and he came in and shot her.' A nation where fourth graders say “It’s time to die” is a failed nation. A nation where a politician hears this and replies “It could have been worse” is a failed nation. A nation where this happens weekly is a failed nation. GunControlNow How many kids bled out and died while law enforcement did nothing for an hour? I bet many could have been saved. Good guys with guns is not a solution.

Texas massacre leads Newsom, Democrats to promise fast gun control action“We’re going to control the controllable, the things we have control of,” Gov. Gavin Newsom said during an event at the state Capitol. “California leads this national conversation. When California moves, other states move in the same direction.” You suck on prevention. We need serious enforcement of existing laws and stronger ability to lock up the mentally ill that won’t get help on their own. Don't let this fraud, failure & friend of the NWO take away your right to bear arms. If you enjoy stepping over homeless ppl, Draconian vaccine mandates, anti-family education, higher taxes, etc., then vote him in again & kiss your ss good bye. Cali's swirling down the toilet. It’s election time.. He’s all talk no action
