The sensation of sitting down at a nice restaurant, opening the menu, and exclaiming, “holy crap,” can be a deeply demoralizing experience. NY Well said! I don’t mind splurging on a meal, but I like having a ballpark $ figure in mind before I show up. I have avoided restaurants who don’t post prices before. I’m probably not the only one. This practice is costing them business.
