“I don’t resent celebrities who declare their recoveries in AA publicly, but I do think it’s a foolish thing to do. They position themselves as the representatives of AA, 1/2

A solid identity is important for good mental health. It's a shame that Mr. Shepard's parents did not give him a real first name.

🤦🏼‍♂️🤡

Who give a fuck. We all have problems. Difference is he has problems with money

dax 7.7 billion people nobody gives a sh====== eternal life Jesus freak

Good for him. Great to hear such news. Way to go, Dax.

One day at a time, good sir.

We're all relapsing coz of the madness.

Who?

So much for the eleventh tradition

I wish him the best. I really like Employee of the Month, I watch it at least once a year.

He made me miss Ow My Balls.

Who fucking cares

👀✍️👀

XXX

When you have an uncontrollable urge to pop a pain pill, chug a few spoonfuls of kratom.

Newly sober?

He is hanging out with the wrong crowd. He needs to distance himself from his enablers. People who hang around celebrities and get them whatever they want, mostly drugs and alcohol.

He was good in zatura.... 👀 I don't remember hi on anything else

It happens

🍀

Perhaps getting an actual first name might be the first step in his recovery.

This Cat is named after him.

So another millionaire with a drug problem, are we supposed to feel sorry for him? People do it every day with drugs go to work and are normal! Fuck him! But we are suppose to listen to these fucks! 🖕fuck your Dax!

Who fucking cares? This isn’t journalism. Stop acting like a tabloid NBC News!

Good for you

To be honest about your addiction takes so much heart to do. I hope he stays sober and keeps fighting the good fight

Hang in there.

I can't understand how people get addicted to opioids when I'd give anything to not have to take them.

Just watched him give Andy Dwyer a $400/week raise for Johnny Karate. Good on both accounts, daxshepard !

“Stars”: they’re just like us?

Let’s Go to Prison is crazy underrated.

I’ll drink to that, quitter

Yikes, only 7 comments after 30 min post.... and '7 mill' followers......... ok lol

.daxshepard Cheering you on brother!

Some day it's going to be found that the reason that opiod addiction is so hard to overcome is b/c when you use them you fuck with the body's natural pain receptors and R no longer able 2 produce enough dopamine thus the need to use. Get the meds U need Dax & don't beat urself up

Honest, brave, and open. He’s going to save lives.

He’s human

Great, don’t ever give up, no matter what happens

Prayers for you and family Dax. Blessings always. ML

I would drink if I was cucked as bad as him.

Stop making stupid people famous!!!

I’m so sick of actors expectations of sympathy because they can’t manage their lives. They have everything given to them and take it for granted. They then expect to capitalize on their addiction hoping for a big pay day while the average person ends up dead, in jail or ruined!

Good luck dawg!

gordonkeith this dude is doing good work for something you are passionate about

Good for him addiction is not an easy thing to overcome
