Derry Township had paired with Courtyard of Honor to create a memorial site in downtown Hershey for veterans and first responders, but now is moving forward without the nonprofit.

Randy McKillop partnered with Derry Township two years ago to create a “Courtyard of Honor” at the intersection of Cocoa Avenue and West Caracas Avenue in Derry Township, near the Hershey Volunteer Fire Department. McKillop started a nonprofit and created a five-member board for Courtyard of Honor to oversee the project, with him as president and founder.
