A Dallas ISD parent took to social media after his daughter found mold on her school meals two days in a row. They both plan to speak out at an upcoming school board meeting.

PUBLISHED 6:06 PM CDT May. 12, 2022DALLAS — One of the largest school districts in Texas is seeing a string of complaints related to mold being found in prepackaged food for students. He made a Facebook post that sparked other parents to share similar experiences with moldy foodBoth Bryant and his daughter plan to speak at a May 26 school board meeting, hoping to find some answers and solutions

A portion of Bryant’s Facebook post says, “Seeing is believing. This was the muffin served to my 10-year-old at Geneva Heights Elementary School today. This is not the first time moldy food has been served, at the school, and other schools at Dallas ISD.” “Freezers or whatever, dry storage. There’s something that’s widespread across Dallas ISD,” Bryant said.
