Pharmacists do not — and cannot — write prescriptions. Nor do they — or can they — examine patients, conduct tests, diagnose medical conditions, or determine medical treatment. That is the role of physicians, who have the responsibility to write appropriate prescriptions.
I guess they should’ve done something but it’s not really their job. If someone has a legitimate script there’s not much they can do. It’s the doctors fault more than anyone. The doctors would get perks from the drug companies when they sold more.
