The undocumented Governor is a phony and a hypocrite with no integrity the middle class are leaving NY in record numbers do to high taxes to pay for all the illegals and the entitlement class a once Great State has become a third world s hole
This is Exhibit A as to how tone deaf the WSJ is.
his pansy son makes more at CNN
WSJ got this all wrong.
He's poor or lying.
You don’t really think that Cuomo only made $211K. Better look a little deeper. You can’t live in NY in that level of income.
Pinocchio
Pretty sure he knew HE was going to. That was kind of the point against it. He didn't need the tax cut. That's not a bad thing. Ridiculous story.
That’s just pure BS!
Maybe not everyone is motivated by greed?
You realize that his personal returns are not the point of his “ripping”. Or has the WSJ gone full Murdoch?
RT : New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo had a 2018 income of $211,289, according to the ...
It’s weird how many get basic information wrong. The deficit has nothing to do with tax receipts. We have RECORD tax receipts. The problem is and for the near future is SPENDING not higher taxes.
The rich got a tax cut... everyone already knew that
Of course he did, isn't that the whole point of the REPUBLICAN tax cuts? So the rich/those who can afford to, DON'T PAY.
He probably did, but he also understands that his tax savings will go away and the deficit is growing like crazy ... and he is on the hook for that down the road
Yea right
You can tell everyone at this paper is a monster who literally is perplexed by the concept of caring for people other than yourself.
😆 Well, to be fair, he’s just middle-class in New York. TaxDay2019
That’s about $211,000 too much.
RichardRubinDC He's supposed to pay more out of the goodness of his heart?
RichardRubinDC *says publicly that new tax law is wrong & high earners should pay more* *makes 200k, pays what law requires* Media: Ha! Gotcha!!!
That's all? I know Dunkin Donuts or 7-Eleven owners make more than $200k a year.
So?
Until you release realDonaldTrump’s returns, STFU! Oh, and it’s clear you’re the GOP speaking.🙄 Democrats2020💙🇺🇸
He’s the one who should run as a socialist and not millionaire Bernie
Some people have a higher calling.
Why does everyone care about Trump's taxes? If he paid little and did that by the laws that are written, what difference does it make. There should be a flat tax on every $ earned either by person or entity. Zero exceptions.
Who cares No one that matters.
Bullshit
It’s possible to be against a policy that makes you trivially better off, particular when it beggars your neighbours.
realDonaldTrump JudgeJeanine TuckerCarlson recall Obama's-IRS targeting of conservative non-profits via email hacks. (notice no politician has earned a million dollars that didn't come directly from theft/taxpayers.) Trump2020
This is such a weird take? Of course people making 100k+ pay less—that’s what the tax cuts were designed to do, and it’s why we have a $1 trillion deficit. Paying the correct amount in federal taxes doesn’t mean criticizing the tax plan is somehow hypocritical
I fail to see the point
He needs to thank Trump
Not that I’m a fan of cuomo, but it shouldn’t need to be said that an elected official’s job is to advocate on behalf of his constituents, not himself. Just because something is good for him isn’t a reason to support it (a concept foreign to trump-loving conservatives, no doubt)
What a dumb headline. 'Elected official cares about the people he represents' fixed it for you
So what?
Perhaps the governor is fighting for more than just self- gain? What a concept.
.............and what about President Trump?
