Taye Diggs is hosting the hybrid in-person/virtual ceremony, where Zendaya will accept the SeeHer award.
Diggs, who's returning to host the show for the third year in a row, made his first appearance sitting in front of a roaring fireplace as he recited a rhyming monologue about this year's nominated projects as the set appeared behind him. Back on set, Diggs said that due to social distancing, most presenters and nominees are watching from afar, making him probably the only person not wearing sweatpants. HeHe also showed off virtual tables of people from nominated films and TV shows asactress Gillian Anderson beamed in via video from Prague, where she said it was just after 1 a.m.
She was awful.
