Nah..not canon. Tom Welling's Clark Kent didn't spend 10 years coming to terms with his power and identity to give it all up. There's no reason he couldn't have the marriage, the kids, journalism and be Superman.

I have mixed feelings regarding Tom Welling’s Crisis Clark Kent, one the one hand, overjoyed to see him again - disappointed he gave up his powers & therefore pretty much closing the door for future crossover opportunities - happy that he is still alive. CrisisOfInfiniteEarths
