LEEDS, Utah —The fire, which sparked around 10:30 a.m. on Sunday in the Leeds area of Washington County, was discovered at 50 acres.
The flames were affecting travel along Interstate 15 Oct. 29 and ultimately led to temporary road closures and lane restrictions, which have since been lifted.Utah Fire Info authorities provided an update on the blaze at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, stating that while their investigation remained ongoing they had determined the Berry Fire to be human-caused.Fire authorities reportedly remained on the scene of the fire through Sunday evening, monitoring and extinguishing hot spots.
