In the resurfaced Associated Press photo, Jones, who was 14 at the time, is pictured wearing a striped shirt a few rows back on the school steps. Jones' appearance in the photo was mentioned prominently inafter the Cowboys' victory"I didn't know at the time the monumental event that was going on, and I'm sure glad that we're a long way from that," Jones, 80, said of the incident that occurred when he was a sophomore."I am.

The protest occurred in the same month as a highly publicized incident at nearby Little Rock Central, when then President Dwight D. Eisenhower sent federal troops to the Arkansas capital to make sure that nine Black students could enter that school.

Did he throw hands? Wave signs? Scream at people? Start a fight? Block the kids from going in? Nope. He stood there & watched. End of discussion.

Give me a break. I don't care if he headed the KKK. You're not seeking justice or equalities. You're just burning a few 'Confederate Crosses'. The torture of this is the North wasn't innocent in all of this. Racial prejudice existed in our democracy and the Capitol of the USA.

Americans schools need segregated. White kids are dropping out to escape the violence in schools with diversity. You can keep pretending, but white flight isn't just for houses. It is hurting military, etc ...It creates poverty. Disenfranchisement leads to suicide, drugs & crime.

Funny inner city kids who say they were experimenting with drugs didn't get any breaks they got deconian jail sentences

'curious kid?' Man Jerry could've owned this moment. Here's what you could've said Jerry. 'Oh yeah back then I was racist as hell, but look at me now? I'm giving away millions of my money to the same people I once hated.' He could've owned it and set a trend for others.

A 'curious kid' is not an appropriate description for that person's involvement in that angry group of young men in that picture.

Curious? Yep I believe that ! Bye Felicia!

Those Black children were curious too, but your kind doesn't seem to care too much.

Majidreza_Rahnavard is sentenced to death with false accusations and NO COURT within only a few days after being arrested protesting his rights in Mashhad, Iran. He has been tortured, his family has been threatened and his shop has been closed by IRI’s regime. Be his voice!

A racist kid lol

In the area Jones lived in Arkansas 1950s everybody was curiously racist

Sure Jerry! 🙄

You're going to try and cancel Jerry Jones from the cowboys now?

OJ Simpson was just returning glasses

Jeffrey Dahmer was simply hungry

🤣🤣🤣

How come he never said anything about this until a photo of him being there now surfaced? He came out hard against Kaepernick and black players kneeling. It all makes sense.
